Crooked Creek Brewery adds a full kitchen to its St. Helens riverfront taproom

The Warren-brewed beer now comes with a from-scratch menu by a chef who came from Deschutes Brewery, according to the brewery.

Crooked Creek Brewery’s taproom at 343 S. First St. on the St. Helens riverfront now has a full kitchen, with a menu of “seasonal comfort foods and fresh takes on pub favorites” by chef Jill Ramseier, formerly of Deschutes Brewery, according to the brewery’s website.

The site says Ramseier “loves cooking from scratch, making all our sauces, soups, and dressings.” The taproom is described as kid friendly and dog friendly on the patio, with cider, Pacific Northwest wines, cocktails made with Oregon spirits, and non-alcoholic options alongside the beer.

The beer itself is made in Warren. The brewery describes itself as “a community focused brewery in rural Columbia County, Oregon, just 25 miles north of Portland on the way to the Oregon Coast,” brewing “rustic style ales and lagers in a humble pole barn converted to a brewery along the banks of a ‘crooked creek’” that runs through the property.

The taproom is open daily from 11 a.m., until 9 p.m. Sunday through Wednesday and 10 p.m. Thursday through Saturday, according to its business listing.
